Regular Season Round 26: Kotwica - Ksiezak Lowicz 105-83

Bottom-ranked Kotwica managed to get a seventh victory. This time they outleveled fifth-ranked Ksiezak Lowicz in Kolobrzeg 105-83. It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 22-point difference proves that Kotwica was well-prepared to that game. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Ksiezak Lowicz's 40. Kotwica forced 22 Ksiezak Lowicz turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. Patryk Przyborowski (195-90, agency: Promotex) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points and 6 rebounds. The former international swingman Jakub Dloniak (194-83, agency: Promotex) contributed with 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Kotwica's coach Nikolaj Tanasejczuk felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Arkadiusz Kobus (196-86, agency: Promotex) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and Mikolaj Stopierzynski (190-94) added 20 points and 4 assists in the effort for Ksiezak Lowicz. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Kotwica (7-16) moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Klodzko. Ksiezak Lowicz at the other side keeps the fifth position with ten games lost. Kotwica will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Ksiezak Lowicz will play at home against Pogon Prudnik (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
