Regular Season Round 22: Vic - Boet 83-52

Very expected game when 13th ranked Boet (4-15) was smashed on the road by first ranked Vic (19-1) 83-52 on Saturday. Vic dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Boet's 22. They also forced 20 Boet turnovers and outrebounded them 47-33 including 16 on the offensive glass. Vic looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Boet's players. Quite impressive performance for the former international power forward Alfonso Alzamora (206-79) who helped to win the game recording 8 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. Point guard Julian Garrote (185-82) contributed with 15 points and 5 assists for the winners. Swedish swingman Mustafa Dibba (186-95) replied with 13 points and 8 rebounds and forward David Romero (191-90) added 5 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Boet. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Vic have an impressive 12-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Group C-A with 19-1 record. Boet lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth place with 15 games lost. Vic will face league's second-placed Igualada on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Boet will play against Arenys (#8) and hope to win that game.
