Lions upset Flames to complete the sweep. The guests trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 86-81. Lions made 18-of-19 free shots (94.7 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Guard Sebastian Gmeiner (189-90) notched a double-double by scoring 13 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the effort and Spanish forward Javier Medori (202-93, agency: Interperformances) supported him with 13 points and 8 rebounds. Four Lions players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 27 points, 19 rebounds and 5 assists by naturalized Argentinian forward Fabricio Vay (207-86, agency: Interperformances) did not help to save the game for Flames. Point guard Tobias Stadelmann (180-88) added 14 points and 7 assists for the hosts.
