Regular Season Round 22: Roser - Castelldefels 66-95

Everything went according to plan when sixth ranked Castelldefels (13-7) outplayed on the road 13th ranked Roser (4-16) 95-66 on Saturday. Castelldefels shot 60.7 percent from the field. Roser was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Quite impressive performance for center Marc Bernadi (205-93) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 7 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Point guard Andreu Sese (189-97) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Four Castelldefels players scored in double figures. Forward Albert Sulleva (196-89) replied with 20 points and guard Joan Gavalda (185-94) added 11 points in the effort for Roser. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Castelldefels have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place in Group C-B, which they share with Valls Nutrion and Mollet. Newly promoted Roser dropped to the fourteenth position with 16 games lost. Castelldefels will face Valls Nutrion (#5) at home in the next round. Roser will play against the league's leader Tarragona (#1) and hope to win that game.
