The game had a very big importance for second-ranked JDA Dijon as it allowed them to take a leadership position. JDA Dijon smashed 11th ranked Entente Orleans 45 at home 90-71. JDA Dijon looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Entente Orleans 45's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Richard Solomon (208-92, college: California) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). His fellow American import LaMonte Ulmer (198-86, college: URI) contributed with 19 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four JDA Dijon players scored in double figures. JDA Dijon's coach Laurent Legname used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Naturalized Congolese Giovan Oniangue (196-91) answered with 24 points and Cameroonian-American DJ Strawberry (196-85, college: Maryland) added 20 points in the effort for Entente Orleans 45. JDA Dijon (21-3) have an impressive series of fourteen victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Newly promoted Entente Orleans 45 dropped to the twelfth place with 15 games lost. They share the position with Pau-Lacq-Orthez and Chalons-Reims. Entente Orleans 45 will play next round against Chorale de Roanne trying to get back on the winning streak. JDA Dijon will try to continue on its current victory against second ranked Monaco on the road.
