Eleventh-ranked KFUM Blackeberg (1-16) used its home court advantage to challenge seventh ranked Lulea S. (7-11) in Vallingby on Saturday. The visitors from Lulea managed to secure only one-point victory 85-84. However their fans expected much easier game. KFUM Blackeberg was tied after three quarters and then recorded another tie at the end of regular time. They were eventually defeated in overtime 8-9. It was a good game for forward Alexander Yemane (200-99) who saved his team from a defeat with 25 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Karl Persson (190-99) contributed with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Lulea S.'s coach Maien Engman used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Theodore Silveira-Ovrebo (193-97) replied with 16 points and 8 rebounds and guard Fabian Illes (188-1) added 14 points in the effort for KFUM Blackeberg. Four Lulea S. and five KFUM Blackeberg players scored in double figures. Despite that victory Lulea S. went down to eighth position (North) due to points difference. Loser KFUM Blackeberg keeps the eleventh place with 16 games lost. Lulea S. will face Jarfalla (#10) at home in the next round. KFUM Blackeberg will play against Jamtland 2 in Ostersund and hope to win that game.
