There was an upset in Riga where higher ranked Estonian Rakvere (8-5) was defeated by twenty first ranked Latvian DSN (4-3) 64-52 on Saturday. DSN dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Rakvere's 22. They outrebounded Rakvere 48-28 including a 32-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Forward Davis Altrofs (198-3) fired a double-double by scoring 12 points, 19 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Guard Rainers Biliks (170-2) chipped in 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four DSN players scored in double figures. Tauri Veevo (-4) produced 7 points and 5 assists and Neiro Vaab added 9 points respectively for lost side. Rakvere's coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. DSN moved-up to seventeenth place. Loser Rakvere dropped to the tenth position with five games lost.
