Tenth-ranked Raleigh F. (2-6) gave a tough game to first ranked Dallas Skyline (8-3) on Saturday. The visitors from Dallas managed to secure only two-point victory 118-116. However their fans expected much easier game. Point guard Charlie Shorter (185-90, college: MidAmerica Ch.) had a double-double by scoring 32 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Daylon Guy (183-92, college: Tarleton St.) chipped in 31 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) during the contest. Guard Jorge Concepcion (188-97, college: Bluefield) responded with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and point guard Brock Young (181-88, college: ECU) scored 16 points and 7 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Raleigh F.'s coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Dallas Skyline maintains first position with 8-3 record. Raleigh F. at the other side keeps the tenth place with six games lost.
