Regular Season Round 13: Basketbola klase - Viimsi 41-77

Very expected game in Riga where 26th ranked Latvian Basketbola klase (1-9) was rolled over by tenth ranked Estonian Viimsi (9-6) 77-41 on Saturday. The game without a history. Viimsi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Basketbola klase's 30. Viimsi forced 29 Basketbola klase turnovers and outrebounded them 39-22 including 24 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Basketbola klase's players. Martten Trempi fired 21 points and 8 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Rando Roose (-4) chipped in 16 points and 5 assists. Four Viimsi players scored in double figures. Gints Podins produced 16 points and Adrians Skrinda added 6 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Basketbola klase's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Viimsi have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They moved-up to eighth place. Basketbola klase lost ninth consecutive game. They dropped to the twenty fourth position with nine games lost. Viimsi will face VerTEAM (#22) in Minsk in the next round which should be another easy win for them.
