Top ranked Estonian SK Nord (13-2) recorded its second loss in Tallin on Saturday night. Hosts were edged by twenty first ranked Latvian DSN (4-3) in overtime 56-54. It ended at the same time the ten-game winning streak of SK Nord. The guests trailed by 13 points after three quarters before their 20-7 charge, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time and get a 2-point victory in overtime. DSN dominated on the defensive end, holding SK Nord to just 5 points in third quarter and to 12 points in second half. DSN forced 20 SK Nord turnovers. Point guard Roberts Erins (180-3) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Toms Barkans (-3) chipped in 16 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Guard Gregor Allik (185-4) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and Simm Saadi added 10 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. DSN moved-up to seventeenth place. SK Nord at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost. DSN will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. SK Nord will play at home against Luja-Lukko and is hoping to win this game.
