Everything could happen in Wroclaw at the game between two tied teams. Both seventh ranked Slask and 9th ranked Spojnia Stargard had identical 10-10 record. This time Slask used a home court advantage and rolled over the opponent from Stargard 85-65. Slask made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. It was a good game for Canadian guard Devoe Joseph (193-90, college: Oregon, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory with 23 points. The former international forward Mathieu Wojciechowski (203-92) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Four Slask players scored in double figures. The former international Mateusz Kostrzewski (200-89, agency: Octagon Europe) answered with 30 points and 6 rebounds (went 12 for 12 at the free throw line !!!) and the former international point guard Tomasz Snieg (190-89) added 12 points and 6 assists in the effort for Spojnia Stargard. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Slask (11-10) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Trefl. Spojnia Stargard at the other side dropped to the eighth position with 11 games lost. Slask's next round opponent will be Trefl (#6) in Sopot. Spojnia Stargard will play at home against the league's second-placed Start and hope to win that game.
