LF2 top team - ASEFA Estudiantes (19-1) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed ninth ranked Iraurgi (8-12) in Madrid 87-61. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Iraurgi. ASEFA Estudiantes dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Iraurgi's 30. ASEFA Estudiantes forced 24 Iraurgi turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Iraurgi's players. The best player for the winners was American guard Judy Jones (175-90, college: GCU) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals. Center Mariana Gonzalez (187-88) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. Four ASEFA Estudiantes players scored in double figures.
