Leader Pelita Jaya delivered the ninth victory on Sunday night. This time they beat 5th ranked Louvre S. (6-5) 80-76 in Jakarta. Pelita Jaya looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Dior Lowhorn (201-87, college: USF) who led his team to a victory scoring 31 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Reggie Mononimbar (185-95) helped adding 9 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. Pelita Jaya's coach Octaviarro Tamtelahitu used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was American guard Michael Kolawole (196, college: Lamar, agency: Haylett Sports) with 32 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and the other American import forward Savon Goodman (198, college: Shaw) produced a double-double by scoring 25 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Pelita Jaya maintains first place with 9-2 record, which they share with Indonesia P. Newly promoted Louvre S. keeps the fifth position with five games lost. Pelita Jaya will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Louvre S. will play against Prawira (#10) in Bandung and hope to secure a win.
