Regular Season Round 18: Talje - Huddinge 76-72

There was no surprise when 10th ranked Huddinge (1-15) lost on the road to third ranked Talje Knights (11-4) 76-72 on Sunday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Huddinge was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Talje Knights looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Huddinge's players. It was a good game for center Hampus Ramstedt (202-99) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds. Point guard Mario Blazevic (180-93) contributed with 9 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists for the winners. Talje Knights' coach used entire bench in such tough game. David Hermes replied with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds and Jamaal Sakariya (-93) added 15 points and 4 assists in the effort for Huddinge. Four Huddinge players scored in double figures. Newly promoted Talje Knights maintains third position in South with 11-4 record having eight points less than leader KFUM Uppsala. Loser Huddinge keeps the tenth place with 15 games lost. Talje Knights will face Eskilstuna (#7) on the road in the next round. Huddinge will play against Haga BG and hope to win that game.
