Regular Season Round 126: Sacramento K. - Washington W. 133-126

There was a minor upset in Sacramento where their close opponent Wizards (22-38) were defeated by third ranked Kings (27-34) 133-126 on Tuesday. Kings dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Wizards' 50 and made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Wizards 42-31 including 34 on the defensive glass. Kings looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was guard DeAaron Fox (192-97, college: Kentucky) who scored 31 points. Bahamas guard Buddy Hield (193-93, college: Oklahoma) chipped in 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Bradley Beal (196-93, college: Florida) who recorded 35 points (!!!) and 8 assists and Japanese forward Rui Hachimura (203-98, college: Gonzaga) added 20 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Wizards' coach let to play eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Kings have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Orlando M. Loser Wizards keep the third position with 38 games lost. Kings will have a break next day. Wizards will play on the road against Trail Blazers in Portland and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
