Fourth defeat of league's leader Slovenian Celje (14-4) against second ranked Bulgarian Beroe (14-4) 94-87 in overtime was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Celje. It was a key game for the second position in the league. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime then Celje managed to tie the game at the end of regular time. However that was Beroe who were better in overtime eventually winning that period 13-6. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a good game for American center Adijat Adams (188-92, college: Biola, CA) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. Jaklin Zlatanova (190-88) contributed with 9 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Swedish guard Paulina Hersler (190-94, college: Florida) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds and American guard Taeler Deer (165-96, college: Texas St.) added 17 points and 5 assists in the effort for Celje. Five Celje players scored in double figures. Beroe maintains second position with 14-4 record behind leader Buducnost, which they share with defeated Celje.
