Damligan top team - Lulea Basket (15-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked IK Eos (3-15) in Lund 89-58. The game without a history. Lulea Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Lulea Basket had a 39-25 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. The winners were led by American forward Ivey Slaughter (186-94, college: FSU) who scored that evening 18 points and 8 rebounds and the former international forward Allis Nystrom (185-93) supported her with 11 points and 7 rebounds. Five Lulea Basket players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds by Croatian-Italian center Dubravka Dacic (201-85) did not help to save the game for IK Eos. Sofie Ljungcrantz (176-97) added 13 points for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Lulea Basket have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 15-2 record. IK Eos lost fourteenth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 15 games lost. Lulea Basket will play against bottom-ranked Visby Ladies (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. IK Eos will play against Telge and hope to get back on the winning track.
