Bottom-ranked AZS Uniw.Gd. managed to get a second victory on Wednesday night. This time newly promoted AZS Uniw.Gd. outleveled tenth-ranked Enea AZS P. in Gdansk 78-58. It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 20-point difference proves that AZS Uniw.Gd. was well-prepared to that game. Russian Olga Frolkina (185-97) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points and 8 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). American guard Gabbi Ortiz (175-96, college: Oklahoma) contributed with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four AZS Uniw.Gd. players scored in double figures. AZS Uniw.Gd.'s coach Miroslaw Orczyk used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
