No shocking result in a game in Salo where second ranked Vilpas (28-6) defeated 7th ranked Kataja (16-18) 87-80. 25 personal fouls committed by Kataja helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The winners were led by American swingman Tim Coleman (196-95, college: NJIT) who scored that evening 26 points and 4 steals and the other American import power forward Jeremiah Wood (200-85, agency: Inception Sports) supported him with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Even 20 points and 8 assists by international point guard Jamar Wilson (185-84, college: Albany) did not help to save the game for Kataja.
