Very significant was Bucks' (#1, 53-9) victory against their biggest opponent Pacers (37-25) 119-100. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Pacers. Bucks made 20-of-22 free shots (90.9 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Pacers 56-39 including a 45-32 advantage in defensive rebounds. Bucks looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a great evening for Greek-Nigerian swingman Giannis Antetokounmpo (211-94, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists (made all of his seven free throws). Forward Khris Middleton (203-91, college: Texas A&M) helped adding 20 points and 8 rebounds. At the losing side Lithuanian-American power forward Domantas Sabonis (209-96, college: Gonzaga) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists and point guard TJ McConnell (185-92, college: Arizona) scored 14 points and 6 assists. Five Bucks and four Pacers players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bucks maintains first place with 53-9 record. Loser Pacers keep the second position with 25 games lost.
