No shocking result in a game when third ranked SCVU (3-1) beat bottom-ranked Yellow Birds (1-4) 72-68. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. SCVU forced 22 Yellow Birds turnovers. Sergio Panka had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Serdinio Rozenwijn chipped in 17 points and 4 assists during the contest. SCVU's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The best for the losing side was the former international Chaief Wielingen (188-0) with 23 points and 6 rebounds and Donyell Samson scored 15 points and 9 rebounds. SCVU have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Yellow Birds at the other side stay at the bottom position with four games lost. They share it with CLD.
