Second Stage Round 10: COR Victoria - Tsmoki-Minsk 62-87

An interesting game for Tsmoki-Minsk (7-0) which played road game in Brest against 4th ranked COR Victoria (1-2). Top-ranked Tsmoki-Minsk had an easy win 87-62. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of COR Victoria. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 87-62. Tsmoki-Minsk dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to COR Victoria's 46. Tsmoki-Minsk forced 22 COR Victoria turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Viktoryia Hasper (192-88) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Ekaterina Rybalko (177-98) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Five Tsmoki-Minsk players scored in double figures. Forward Anastasia Babak (180-2) replied with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Daiana Komkova (181-1) added 6 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for COR Victoria. COR Victoria's coach Nadejda Kamenec gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Tsmoki-Minsk have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 7-0 record. COR Victoria at the other side keeps the fourth place with two games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
