Regular Season Round 129: Brooklyn N. - San Antonio S. 139-120

An exciting game was played in Brooklyn. Fourth ranked Nets faced their close opponent Spurs. Host Nets (28-34) smashed guests from San Antonio (26-35) 139-120. Nets outrebounded Spurs 52-38 including 43 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 32 assists. It was a good game for guard Caris LeVert (201-94, college: Michigan) who led his team to a victory with a triple-double by scoring 27 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. Guard Spencer Dinwiddie (198-93, college: Colorado) contributed with 19 points and 9 assists for the winners. Swingman DeMar DeRozan (201-89, college: USC) answered with 24 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and Canadian swingman Trey Lyles (206-95, college: Kentucky) added 19 points in the effort for Spurs. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Nets maintains fourth place with 28-34 record which they share with defeated Spurs. Spurs at the other side keep the fourth position with 35 games lost.
