Regular Season Round 31: Zilina - Levice 73-74

The most exciting game of round 31 in the SBL took place in Zilina. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 5th ranked Zilina (14-13) to third ranked Levice (17-11) 74-73 on Saturday evening. It was a great evening for the former international center Boris Bojanovsky (217-93, college: FSU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots). The former international forward Viktor Juricek (211-93, college: Texas A&M-CC) helped adding 12 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side American forward Deandre Dickson (206, college: WWU) responded with 24 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import guard Doug Wiggins (185-88, college: Mountain St.) scored 15 points. Levice moved-up to second place. Zilina lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with 13 games lost. Levice are looking forward to face Nova Ves (#8) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Zilina will play against Lucenec and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
