Regular Season Round 20: Larissa BC - Kolossos HH 95-90

There was a small surprise when eleventh ranked Larissa BC (8-12) beat at home 9th ranked Kolossos HH (8-12) 95-90. Kolossos HH was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Kolossos HH was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. American point guard Anthony Hickey (180-92, college: Oklahoma St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points and 7 assists. The other American import guard Brandon Rush (198-85, college: Kansas) contributed with 21 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. American-Nigerian power forward Danny Agbelese (206-90, college: Hampton, agency: Octagon Europe) replied with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!) and American-Liberian Lasan Kromah (198-91, college: UConn) added 19 points and 4 assists in the effort for Kolossos HH. Four Larissa BC and five Kolossos HH players scored in double figures. Kolossos HH's coach Aris Likogiannis rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Larissa BC moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Ionikos Nikaias and Kolossos HH. Larissa BC will play against higher ranked Ifestos (#6) in Keratsiniou in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Kolossos HH will play at home against Ionikos Nikaias and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
