Regular Season Round 21: Pagrati - Tritonas S. 97-93

An interesting game took place in Athens where 11th ranked Tritonas S. (7-13) was upset on the court of fourteenth ranked Pagrati (7-12) 97-93 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Tritonas S.. Pagrati looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was Montenegrin center Milovan Draskovic (211-95, agency: Interperformances) who scored 18 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Yiannis Tzivelekas (180-96) chipped in 18 points and 7 assists. Pagrati's coach Dimitris Liogas allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Nikos Kokkalis (198-85) who recorded 18 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists and Nikos Paparegkas (200-95) added 19 points respectively. Four Pagrati and five Tritonas S. players scored in double figures. Pagrati moved-up to eleventh place. Tritonas S. at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the twelfth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Koroivos. Pagrati will meet league's leader Charilaos TM in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Tritonas S.'s supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Athens Psychiko.
