Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Stockholm: Akropol (#4) and Alvik 2 (#7). Akropol (11-8) won against visiting Alvik 2 (7-11) 84-76. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Alvik 2. Alvik 2 was ahead by 10 points at the halftime before a 54-36 second half run of Akropol. They made 16-of-20 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 24 Alvik 2 turnovers and had a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for naturalized Serbian forward Dragan Damjanovic (203-88) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 41 points (!!!) and 21 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!). Said-Mohamd Dabourh (-93) accounted for 16 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. David Hermelin (-0) came up with 24 points and 5 assists and Emil Millde (-2) added 11 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Alvik 2 in the defeat. Alvik 2's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Akropol maintains fourth place in North with 11-8 record. Newly promoted Alvik 2 keeps the seventh position with 11 games lost. They share it with Jamtland 2. Akropol will play against Jamtland 2 (#7) in Ostersund in the next round. Alvik 2 will play at home against Jamtland 2 and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
