Regular Season Round 26: Monaco - Dijon 80-67

There was a change at the Jeep ELITE ProA leadership position after last games. Round 26 most important game was a defeat of league's leader JDA Dijon (21-4). They were defeated by second ranked Monaco (21-3) 80-67 on Saturday night. It ended at the same time the 14-game winning streak of JDA Dijon. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Monaco dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to JDA Dijon's 28. American-Bulgarian point guard Dee Bost (188-89, college: Mississippi St.) scored 18 points, 7 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and American point guard Norris Cole (188-88, college: Cleveland St.) chipped in 17 points during the contest. Four Monaco players scored in double figures. Monaco's coach Sasa Obradovic used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. International point guard Axel Julien (184-92) responded with 11 points and 4 steals and Nigerian-American guard Rasheed Sulaimon (193-94, college: Maryland) scored 9 points. Monaco have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader. JDA Dijon at the other side dropped to the second place with four games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Monaco. JDA Dijon will play next round against strong Levallois trying to make it back to the top of the standings.
