Top ranked Batumi (10-5) recorded its fifth loss on the court of fourth ranked Vera on Saturday night. Visitors were edged by Vera 84-82. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Batumi. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. The hosts trailed by 9 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 2 points.
