LFB top team - Lyon (14-2) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat tenth ranked Tarbes (4-12) 71-65. Lyon forced 19 Tarbes turnovers and had a 14-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winners were led by the former international Helena Ciak (197-89) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and Belgian point guard Julie Allemand (173-96, agency: LBM Management) supported her with 17 points and 5 assists. Four Lyon players scored in double figures. Even 30 points and 5 rebounds by point guard Tima Pouye (174-99) did not help to save the game for Tarbes. Swedish center Louice Halvarsson (191-89) added 8 points and 13 rebounds for lost side. Lyon have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 14-2 record. Tarbes lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Nantes and Charnay. Lyon will meet at home Nantes Reze (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Tarbes will play against the league's second-placed Bourges and hope to secure a win.
