Important game to mention about took place in Galeb. Third ranked Omis-Cagalj T. (12-7) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 6th ranked Kastela (9-9) 86-83 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Kastela. Omis-Cagalj T. players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. It was a great evening for guard Ivan Mimica (190-80) who led his team to a victory scoring 33 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Josip Matijevic (-96) helped adding 17 points and 8 rebounds. At the losing side center Frano Marasovic (214-92) responded with 20 points and 9 rebounds and guard Ivan Svalina (198-97) scored 12 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Omis-Cagalj T. have a solid series of four victories in a row. Newly promoted Omis-Cagalj T. maintains third place with 12-7 record having just two points less than leader Jazine. Kastela at the other side keeps the sixth position with nine games lost. They share it with Rudes. Omis-Cagalj T. will play against Bulldogs (#6) in Zagreb in the next round. Kastela will play at home against Pula 1981 and hopes to get back on the winning track.
