Bottom-ranked CFBB managed to get a second victory, breaking the series of fifteen consecutive losses. This time they won against eleventh-ranked Reze in Paris 56-49. CFBB forced 21 Reze turnovers. Center Oumou Diarisso (189-3) nailed a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and Serena Kessler (181-2) accounted for 6 points and 11 rebounds. Point guard Onayssa SBahi (168-93) came up with 17 points and Senegalese center Aida Fall (192-86) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Reze in the defeat. CFBB (2-15) moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with defeated Reze. Reze lost ninth consecutive game. CFBB will play against higher ranked Toulouse (#4) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Reze will play against Calais (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
