Regular Season Round 21: H.Galilee - Ramat Hash. 97-82

Date: March 7, 2020
There was no surprise in Kazrin where 14th ranked Hasharon (6-15) was defeated by seventh ranked H.Galilee (11-10) 97-82 on Saturday. H.Galilee looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Jerry Evans (203-90, college: Nevada) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds. Point guard Guni Israeli (182-84) chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Tyrell Nelson (201-95, college: Gardner-Webb) who recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds and the other American import point guard Ricky Tarrant (188-93, college: Memphis) added 28 points respectively. Five H.Galilee and four Hasharon players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. H.Galilee moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Hod Hasharon. Newly promoted Hasharon stay at the bottom position with 15 games lost. H.Galilee will face H.Ramat Gan (#11) in Givataim in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Hasharon will play against Hapoel H/M and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
