Quarter-Finals Round 1: Herlev - SISU 72-75

It looked good early as Herlev took a 2-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then SISU had a 19-15 second period charge getting the lead and Herlev was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 72-75. Strangely Herlev outrebounded SISU 54-40 including a 21-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Guard Taylor Gleason (173-95, college: Oakland) nailed 22 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and guard Amalie Bessermann (176-2) accounted for 17 points and 6 rebounds. Gleason is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. SISU's coach Eleni Kafantari used entire bench in such tough game. Forward Laura Ziegler (184-2) came up with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 17 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Caroline Rasmussen (177-1) added 16 points and 13 rebounds respectively for Herlev in the defeat.
