A1 top team - Olympiacos (20-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed tenth ranked Dafni Agioy (7-13) in Athens 113-62. Olympiacos well out of reach of Dafni Agioy shooting 76.4 percent from the field and made 17-of-22 charity shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Olympiacos shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 75.0 percentage. The winners were led by American power forward Bashaara Graves (188-94, college: Tennessee) who scored that evening 26 points (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!) and international guard Jacki Gemelos (182-88, college: USC) supported her with 18 points and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Even 18 points by American forward Mikayla Cowling (188-96, college: California) did not help to save the game for Dafni Agioy. Her fellow American import guard Jamie Cherry (173, college: UNC) added 15 points for the hosts. Five Olympiacos and four Dafni Agioy players scored in double figures. Olympiacos have an impressive 20-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 20-0 record. Dafni Agioy at the other side dropped to the ninth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Kronos AD. Olympiacos will play against Esperides (#8) in Glyfada in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Dafni Agioy's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Athens Panathinaikos.
