Second Stage Round 3: Zamorano - Prat 74-77

A very interesting game took place in Zamora. It ended with only three-point home defeat of Zamorano (14-11) to CB Prat (17-8) 77-74 on Sunday evening. Strangely Zamorano outrebounded CB Prat 50-32 including a 33-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was center Arnau Parrado (200-0) who scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. American-Haitian swingman Junior Saintel (201-95, college: Stony Brook) chipped in 15 points. CB Prat's coach Daniel Miret allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was Slovenian guard Ziga Samar (193-1) who recorded 14 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and American guard Bryce Canda (193-95, college: Portland St.) added 14 points and 11 rebounds respectively. CB Prat's next round opponent will be UBU Tizona in Burgos and it will be for sure the game of the week. Zamorano will play on the road against Menorca in Mahon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
