Regular Season Round 19: Jazine - Rudes 78-79

The most surprising game was another loss of top-ranked Jazine (14-5) in Zadar on Sunday night. Hosts were edged by eighth ranked Bulldogs (9-9) 79-78. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Marko Juric (190-99) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Hrvoje Garfolic (196-90) contributed with 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Bulldogs' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Franko Sango (201-92) answered with 23 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Stipe Krstanovic (205-93) added 14 points and 14 rebounds in the effort for Jazine. Four Jazine players scored in double figures. Bulldogs have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Kastela. Jazine lost fourth consecutive game. They still keep top position with five games lost. Bulldogs is looking forward to face higher ranked Omis-Cagalj T. (#3) in Galeb in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Jazine will play on the road against KK Dubrovnik and is hoping to win this game.
