Regular Season Round 9: Tridents - Pinelands 94-103

An interesting game for Pinelands (7-1) which played road game in against 4th placed Tridents (4-3). Second ranked Pinelands managed to get a 9-point victory 103-94. Pinelands forced 27 Tridents turnovers. Strangely Tridents outrebounded Pinelands 48-28 including a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. It was a good game for the former international swingman Junior Moore (191-83) who led his team to a victory with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. The former international forward Ramon Simmons (193-86, college: Bridgeport) contributed with 20 points and 4 steals for the winners. Guard Brandon Ruck answered with 30 points and 8 rebounds and American power forward Kwame Alexander (201-90, college: CS San Bernar.) added 12 points, 15 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals in the effort for Tridents. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Pinelands maintains second place with 7-1 record behind leader Bulls. Tridents at the other side keep the fourth position with three games lost.
