There was no surprise when 11th ranked Paulistano (11-14) was defeated on the road by eighth ranked UniFacisa (13-14) 101-90 on Monday. UniFacisa made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American point guard Nate Barnes (178-90, college: Alders.-Broad.) who scored 30 points and 4 assists. Douglas Nunes (208-87) chipped in 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Dominican guard Gelvis Solano (185-94, college: Merrimack) who recorded 19 points and 6 assists and international point guard Yago Santos (178-99) added 13 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists respectively.
