There was no surprise in Nes Ziyona where 11th ranked Beer Sheva (7-14) was defeated by sixth ranked Ironi Nes-Ziona (10-11) 83-76 on Tuesday. Ironi Nes-Ziona dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Beer Sheva's 30. Ironi Nes-Ziona forced 19 Beer Sheva turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Cameroonian-American forward JP Tokoto (198-93, college: UNC) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and American-Georgian point guard Corey Fisher (186-88, college: Villanova) who added 15 points and 5 assists during the contest. Four Ironi Nes-Ziona players scored in double figures. Ironi Nes-Ziona's coach Nadav Zilberstein allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The former international swingman Amit Simhon (198-89) responded with 22 points and American forward John Petrucelli (193-92, college: Molloy) scored 19 points and 7 steals.
