An interesting game took place in Rouen where higher ranked SPO Rouen (11-12) was upset on its own court by fifteenth ranked ALM Evreux (9-14) 81-76 on Tuesday. ALM Evreux looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for swingman Paul Rigot (201-95) who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points and 8 rebounds. Spanish-Venezuelan swingman Jhornan Zamora (196-89) helped adding 9 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. ALM Evreux's coach Neno Asceric used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American point guard Jamar Diggs (190-88, college: Wofford, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 22 points and 6 assists and power forward Jerome Cazenobe (205-89) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). ALM Evreux moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Aix-Maurienne and Gries/Oberhoffen. SPO Rouen lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the tenth position with 12 games lost. ALM Evreux will face Aix-Maurienne (#16) in Aix-les-Bains in the next round.
