Regular Season Round 27: Corinthians - Mogi 78-70
Date: March 10, 2020
The game in Sao Paulo was also quite interesting. 5th ranked Mogi (16-10) played at the court of seventh ranked Corinthians (13-13). Corinthians managed to secure a 8-point victory 78-70 on Tuesday. Corinthians made 26-of-31 free shots (83.9 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for the former international point guard Ricardo Fischer (185-91) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Bahamas David Nesbitt (200-91, college: St.Thomas, FL) helped adding 17 points and 8 rebounds. Four Corinthians players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was the former international guard Danilo Fuzaro (193-94) with 20 points and the former international Andre Bresolin (195-87) scored 17 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Corinthians maintains seventh place with 13-13 record, which they share with Botafogo F.R. and Rio Claro. Mogi at the other side keeps the fifth position with ten games lost. Corinthians will meet at home Brasilia (#13) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Mogi will play against Paschoalotto/Bauru (#12) and hope to secure a win.
