We should mention about the upset which took place in Sao Paulo, where higher ranked Pinheiros (15-12) lost at home to tenth ranked Rio Claro (13-13) 80-86 on Wednesday. Rio Claro made 22-of-28 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was Vinicius Pastor (200-90) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Argentinian point guard Fabian Sahdi (186-89) chipped in 18 points and 5 assists. Four Rio Claro players scored in double figures.
