The game between closely ranked teams ended with fourth ranked Afula's (13-8) home victory over 5th ranked Ironi Kiryat Ata (12-10) 94-80 on Thursday. Five Afula and four Ironi Kiryat Ata players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Afula maintains fourth position with 13-8 record. Loser Ironi Kiryat Ata keeps the fifth place with ten games lost. Afula will face league's second-placed H.Haifa on the road in the next round and it may be the game of the week.
