The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Bnei Hasharon (15-7) on the court of eighth ranked Netanya on Thursday night. Visitors were edged by Netanya 78-76. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Rashad Madden (196-92, college: Arkansas) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. The other American import forward Bryce Washington (198-96, college: La-Lafayette) contributed with 21 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Netanya players scored in double figures. Netanya's coach Ruven Najberger used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American Jakim Donaldson (204-83, college: Edinboro, agency: Inception Sports) replied with 9 points and 16 rebounds and the former international Elishay Kadir (202-87) added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for Bnei Hasharon. Netanya have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with H.Galilee. Bnei Hasharon at the other side still keeps top position with seven games lost. They share it with H.Haifa. Netanya is looking forward to face higher ranked Hasharon (#6) in Hod Hasharon in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Bnei Hasharon will play at home against Ironi Kiryat Ata (#5) and is hoping to win this game.
