Regular Season Round 22: Ramat Hash. - Hapoel H/M 84-86

A very interesting game took place in Ramat Hasharon. It ended with only two-point home defeat of 14th ranked Hasharon (6-16) to thirteenth ranked Hapoel H/M (8-14) 86-84 on Thursday evening. Hapoel H/M dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Hasharon's 28. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. U.S. Virgin Islands-Puerto Rican forward Ivan Aska (201-90, college: Murray St.) fired a double-double by scoring 24 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American guard Deondre Parks (185-92, college: S.Dakota St.) chipped in 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. American point guard Ricky Tarrant (188-93, college: Memphis) produced 29 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists and his fellow American import forward Tyrell Nelson (201-95, college: Gardner-Webb) added 12 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Four Hapoel H/M and five Hasharon players scored in double figures. Hapoel H/M moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Ashkelon. Hasharon at the other side, also newcomer in the league, stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost. Hapoel H/M's next round opponent will be higher ranked H.Ramat Gan (#11) in Givataim and it may be quite challenging game. Hasharon will play on the road against Maccabi Raanana and hope to win that game.
