Second Stage Round 1: Zaragoza - Burgos 86-92

We should not miss another victory of Burgos (1-0) over Zaragoza (0-1) 92-86. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Zaragoza won third quarter 24-22. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Burgos dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Zaragoza's 34. Burgos forced 19 Zaragoza turnovers. International point guard Ferran Bassas (183-92) fired 11 points and 7 assists for the winners. Brazilian center Augusto Lima (206-91) chipped in 13 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Five Burgos players scored in double figures. Canadian-Jamaican point guard Dylan Ennis (187-91, college: Oregon, agency: BeoBasket) produced 15 points and Argentinian forward Nicolas Brussino (202-93) added 8 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Burgos' next round opponent will be Real Madrid at home and it will be for sure the game of the week. Zaragoza will play against Valencia Basket (#1) and hope to win that game.
