Rather predictable result when second ranked Real Madrid (3-2) defeated at home 6th ranked Zaragoza (1-4) 97-88. The hosts were already 12 points ahead at halftime and as many as 16 after three quarters before a 27-20 last quarter charge of Zaragoza cut the lead to 97-88 at the end of the game.
