Undefeated leader Guandong Tigers delivered the sixth consecutive win on Monday night. This time they crushed bottom-ranked Pioneers (0-6) 126-98 in Tianjin. Guandong Tigers dominated down low during the game scoring 82 of its points in the paint compared to Pioneers' 38. Guandong Tigers forced 24 Pioneers turnovers and outrebounded them 42-26 including a 30-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Guandong Tigers looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. 30 personal fouls committed by Pioneers helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American swingman Sonny Weems (198-86, college: Arkansas) fired 23 points and 8 assists for the winners. The former international swingman Mingxuan Hu (191-98) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists. Guandong Tigers' coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Siyu He (-97) produced 25 points and 6 assists and forward Jin Xin (196-95) added 20 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Guandong Tigers (6-0) have an impressive six-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with a perfect record of 6 victories in a row. Pioneers at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost.
