Winner League top team - Maccabi T-A (23-3) had no problems winning another game on Monday. This time they crushed sixth ranked Hapoel Holon (12-14) 100-69. Maccabi T-A dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Hapoel Holon's 18. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. Maccabi T-A looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Hapoel Holon's players. The best player for the winners was international forward Deni Avdija (206-1) who scored 24 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. American-Italian Angelo Caloiaro (205-89, college: USF, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 18 points. Four Maccabi T-A players scored in double figures. American forward Jimmy Hall (203-94, college: Kent St.) produced 18 points and 9 rebounds and his fellow American import Shavon Coleman (196-92, college: LSU) added 11 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains first position with 23-3 record. Hapoel Holon lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 14 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
